Can polyamorous and monogamous people successfully date each other? What percentage of single people who’ve tried polyamory would do it again? What do polyamorists avoid talking about? What are polyamorists really like? Are polyamorists all wealthy white people? Plus: we discuss the ideological trappings of polyamory.
I’ve always been curious how polyamorous people view polygamy.
Assuming all involved are consensual. I have to admit when my kids were young, and even now a husband who was present and provided financial support seemed like a good deal! And you don’t have to deal with them every day. Plus all these other women and children to have in your kids lives seems like a good set up for a working mom. I add this because I think those on the liberal side assume that a woman would only enter into a relationship like this out of pressure, but I genuinely can see the appeal and have no doubt women would choose it.
Or it is just dismissed because it comes from a conservative perspective.
